Margin pricing vs markup pricing

These methods sound similar but they work differently. Margin pricing starts from your target percentage of revenue. Markup pricing starts from your cost, then adds a percentage on top. Because they use different starting points, the same number will produce different selling prices.

This tool lets you choose the method that matches how you think about pricing so you can get a cleaner estimate faster.
